WordPress Plugin: Upgrading Your WYSIWYG Editor The Right Way

The default WYSIWYG editor that comes with WordPress leaves a lot to be desired.  The problem is, it seems like some of the WYSIWYG upgrades take away some of the features that are useful to you, such as the “blockquote”.

Well, that’s actually not the case if you know how to adjust settings…it’s easy:

The plugin involved here is called TinyMCE Advanced.

Wishlist Member: Getting New Users’ Passwords Sent To You

One of the top customer-service inquiries from members of any membership program is summed up as “I lost my username and password, can you help?”  This happens most often within the first 24-48 hours of their initial join.

Two Ways To Upload A WordPress Plugin

One way is to download the plugin folder and files to your hard drive, then upload it to the FTP.  Duh.  (But I’ll demonstrate it for those who aren’t sure how.  Fear not – you’re covered!)

The other is a feature within WordPress that most people I speak with don’t know even exists, but it works 95% of the time.  I’ll explain how it works, and also why I say 95% instead of 100%.

I look at it like this: 95/100 is more than 2/3, and two out of three ain’t bad.  So I’ll take it.

Doing The Ol’ “Save-As-And-Edit” On WordPress Posts And Pages

Have you, up until now, believed that to make a copy of a WordPress page or post – say, to make a “clone” targeted toward a specific niche, or a copy of your landing page for a JV partner or affiliate – you had to rebuild the whole dagnabbin’ thing from scratch?

Nope.  Nothing like that at all.  Watch this:

The WordPress plugin on my website is called Duplicate Post.  The theme used for the ARH Recommends site is OptimizePress.
